Topgolf Entertainment Group, an international sports and entertainment brand, has announced plans alongside its franchise partner TG SEA Development Pte., Ltd, Singapore to develop venues across Southeast Asia; including in countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
Topgolf currently has over 60 venues in five countries, and in late 2019, the brand announced a similar development plan to bring new sites to Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
“Today’s announcement is a significant one for us,” said Topgolf vice president of international strategy and franchise management, Steve Lane. “We’re thrilled to work alongside TG SEA to bring the coveted Topgolf experience to several new countries across Southeast Asia. One of our top priorities has been to expand our presence in Asia and we can’t wait to introduce Topgolf’s unique and technology-driven experience to more communities across the globe.”
Topgolf venues entertain more than 20 million guests every year, through a variety of golfing options. Centers feature outdoor hitting bays, craft food and beverage offerings, and corporate and social event spaces.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with Topgolf and expanding this leading sports entertainment brand into Southeast Asia,” said TG SEA managing director, Andrew Nathan. “We look forward to bringing a multitude of new venues to countries across this region that have not yet had a chance to experience anything like Topgolf.”
