Created by School of Rock chief operating officer (COO) Stacey Ryan and directors of operations, Jill Livick and Nicole Canale, FrontWomen is designed to be a platform to discuss the complex topics and issues that surround women in business leadership roles. The brand plans to include all School of Rock vendors and partners in the initiative.
“Bringing women’s voices to the fore is critical for business success,” said Stacey Ryan, COO of School of Rock.
“Stepping into a senior leadership role reinforced a huge opportunity and sense of responsibility to rock the boat and make meaningful change.”
The first event has already taken place, with women from all around the world taking part in the first virtual FrontWomen meeting. With plans to meet quarterly, C-level position speakers have already been booked. A newsletter is currently in the works, planned for a quarterly release with information on websites, resources and other women-driven initiatives that FrontWomen find valuable.
“FrontWomen is an important development for School of Rock that will have a profound impact,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock.
“We are working to empower women on all fronts, including career development, creative expression, and personal well-being.”
