Johnny Rockets, the FAT Brands Inc.-owned restaurant brand, has announced the opening of 12 new locations in several key markets around the world.
The new sites are situated in Brazil, Chile, Italy, Peru, and Spain, and consist of several different models to suit the respective markets. Four of the new locations will take the form of a ghost kitchen, for example, with other units being a more traditional brick-and-mortar affair.
“Ever since acquiring Johnny Rockets several months ago, we have been incredibly busy expanding our international pipeline,” said Andy Wiederhorn, CEO of FAT Brands. “We expect these new openings to continue to be met with great success.”
The full list of new sites is as follows:
Back in September 2020, FAT Brands Inc. completed its acquisition of Johnny Rockets for an estimated $25m. This expanded FAT’s portfolio of QSR concepts, which already includes the likes of Fatburger, Buffalo’s Cafe, and Hurricane Grill & Wings.
With the acquisition, FAT Brands’ global network grew to more than 700 restaurants in over 30 countries; a figure only set to climb news of these new developments worldwide.
