IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming launch of its voco Hotels brand in South Korea, in partnership with Seraphim Development.
The new-build 280-room location will open its doors to guests in 2023, and will be the fourth of IHG’s brands open within the country; alongside InterContinental, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.
It will be situated in the Gyeonggi-do province and will feature a rooftop pool with a 360-degree view of Godeok city and the Ansung River. Facilities include a restaurant, lounge and bar, fitness center, and 1,300 square meters of meeting space.

IHG launched the voco brand in 2018 and quickly reached 50 signed and open voco hotels in more than 20 countries – IHG’s fastest-ever global expansion.
With the signing of voco Pyeongtaek City, IHG has 15 signed and open hotels in Asia Pacific, including three open properties in Hunter Valley and the Gold Coast in Australia, and Hangzhou in China with further openings set for Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, New Zealand, and Saipan.
