When Andrew Arminen decided to try axe throwing with some friends, he was captivated by the potential of the unique group experience. Tossing axes was great, but the venue was a dive and there was little concern for guests’ safety, but the concept had so much potential.

“FlannelJax’s is poised to re-emerge in a world where people will be craving in-person experiences”

Unable to stop thinking about axe throwing, Andrew led the creation of FlannelJax’s, with the rest of the Metal Supermarkets ownership team – an established B2B franchise brand. Their vision was to create a premium, safe and inclusive axe throwing experience that was a cut above.

The combination of a first-class venue and an exciting variety of games made FlannelJax’s initial location a hit with Minneapolis area residents and businesses alike. With millennials and Gen-Z taking over the workforce – two generations that prioritize experiences over products – there is a growing emphasis by businesses on team building and rewarding employees with quality and fun group experiences. Whether it’s the entire staff of a small business or a single team from a large organization, companies are looking for premium experiences to share with their employees – and FlannelJax’s checks all the boxes.

The beauty of the FlannelJax’s axe throwing experience is that it is fun, thrilling, and inclusive. This isn’t a golf outing where you need to be an experienced player or a dinner where you only get to talk to the people on either side of you. FlannelJax’s empowers and leads everyone to mingle, laugh and participate together. It’s a perfect corporate outing – or a great Friday night with friends.

FlannelJax’s is poised to re-emerge in a world where people will be craving in-person experiences and companies will be focused on team-building and sustaining employee engagement.

The FlannelJax’s experience will be a welcome change and a great venue for reconnecting. And as more companies adapt to a remote working environment, businesses will be looking for opportunities to gather and engage employees. FlannelJax’s will be there.

With just a handful of locations open or in pre-opening, FlannelJax’s is looking for single and multi-unit owners, or international master franchisees to grow its footprint both in the U.S. and internationally. And the brand has experienced leadership to support this; the team that has grown the Metal Supermarkets franchise network to over 100 locations in four countries is experienced in numerous other countries and businesses. They know franchising and FlannelJax’s knows how to grow a successful brand.

The FlannelJax’s system provides proprietary business management software, online and in-person training, fulsome marketing support, and all the necessary guidance to find and create the ideal FlannelJax’s venue.

The comprehensive system makes FlannelJax’s an ideal opportunity for executive franchisees or owner-operators looking for a fun business to grow.
