Following the launch of this location, Hero Brands confirmed that the next site would open in Berlin’s city center by January 2021, with further expansion to follow throughout the coming 12 months.
“It’s very exciting to be launching our first restaurant in Bloomsbury, London,” said co-founder and CEO of Choppaluna, Nikras Agha. “Choppaluna will truly revolutionize the healthy eating space in the U.K., bringing customers indulgent healthy options that fit with a fast-paced on-the-go lifestyle.
“Following the launch of our first flagship store in Bloomsbury, we will open a further site in Berlin by early next year and are currently looking at two other sites in London. The opportunity is truly resonating with our franchise network within the Hero Brands group and we will work with them to explore opportunities for growth throughout the U.K.”
Choppaluna provides customers with a guilt-free menu of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a wide variety of superfoods. Customers can choose from over 60 toppings before watching a member of the Choppaluna team chop up their food before their eyes.
The brand also offers a breakfast menu including high energy options like scrambled eggs and smoothie bowls, alongside its salads and ‘Big-Rolls’; where salad meets burrito to provide a filling option for lunch and dinner.
Hero Brands’ other restaurant concept, German Doner Kebab, currently operates throughout the U.K., Europe, North America, and the Middle East, with over 700 franchises signed-up to its global growth strategy.
Athif Sarway, CEO of Hero Brands, believes that Choppaluna will help to continue this exponential growth.
