2019 was a landmark year for doggy day care and boarding franchise Camp Bow Wow, with the brand filing its first Canadian Franchise Disclosure Document, which it states will help propel its international growth plans.

As well as developing its international growth plans, Camp Bow Wow announced record franchise sales, with a 16 per cent increase in units sold. Through its franchise network, the $125-plus million-dollar brand welcomed over 230,000 customers and 4.7 million dog visits in the past year.
Julie Turner, president of Camp Bow Wow said: “Our company’s momentum speaks to the successful and collaborative partnership between our corporate support team and franchise owners. As we enter 2020, we’re excited to continue our strategic growth with new camps across the United States and Canada, and provide our premium services to more happy campers than ever before.”
With over 170 open camps across 42 states and Canada, Camp Bow Wow also touts 43 per cent of their system as multi-unit owners who have invested in multiple franchised locations.
