Camp Bow Wow, the largest doggy daycare and boarding franchise with 180 camps across 42 states and Canada, is celebrating its successes this year and investing in new technologies to better support its franchisees and better serve communities across North America.
Throughout the pandemic, Camp Bow Wow expedited the rollout of digital processes and capabilities to improve the speed and ease of transactions for customers, while maintaining high standards of health and safety when conducting in-person interactions. New tools were also introduced for franchisees, including virtual training on topics such as social distancing and PPP, as well as customer communication materials and additional operational resources.
These initiatives allowed Camp Bow Wow to open nine new camps in 2020 alone, with six first-time franchisees and three multi-unit owners. The brand also strengthened its U.S. footprint with 12 new franchise agreements.
“Our unwavering commitment to our franchise owners and Campers is at the heart of what we do,” said Julie Turner, president of Camp Bow Wow. “During these unprecedented times, I have been so proud to work alongside our canine-loving franchise owners and support them in their dedication to pet parents across North America. Together we’ve streamlined operations and introduced new capabilities that have allowed us to quickly adapt the customer experience to what our two and four-legged friends need right now.”
Camp Bow Wow has also continued to invest in its nonprofit organization, Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, which ensures that dogs receive proper medical care. Since January 2020, the organization has provided medical grants to 58 dogs in need.
