The bfa, the U.K.‘s primary, go-to resource for all things franchising, has updated its board to reflect the changes in the country’s franchising landscape.
The first of the newly elected members is Ruth Brown, who is the director of business development at Home Instead Senior Care. Brown will be joining as a full board member.
She is joined by Lynne Newman, business development director at Fun Fest Family Holiday, who is the newly elected associate board member. Suki Dehal also joins as a newly elected associated board member, and is currently the franchise development manager for Lloyds Bank.
“It’s fantastic to be elected and great that I will work even closer with the bfa,” said Ruth Brown. “I’ve really enjoyed chairing forums, and for me to sit on the board and get more involved with the association is very exciting.”
Brown’s enthusiasm is mirrored by her fellow board member, Suki Dehal, who added: “As an affiliate, Lloyds Bank is really engaged with the British Franchise Association. To now have board representation means we can further influence positive growth of franchising through the bfa.”
Chairman of the board, John Spencer, said of the new appointments: “Thank you to everybody who stood for election and congratulations to those who have been newly elected. Franchising is growing more than ever before, and this board will ensure that it continues to thrive by working closely with the bfa.”
