Tex-Mex restaurant chain Taco Bueno is to open up to 18 new locations in 2017. This follows the opening of nine restaurants in 2016. The expansion is led by Rick Verity and Quality Brand Management, which has operated Taco Bueno outlets in Central Arkansas and Oklahoma. Meanwhile, multi-unit operators Larry and Kimberly Coon will expand the brand in San Angelo Texas, and Jed Blackburn and Brian Nelson are set to open locations in Louisiana’s Shreveport/Bossier City region. Taco Bueno president and CEO Mike Roper said, “Special Venues like this are an important part of Taco Bueno’s growth plans and we are actively looking to provide dining options for customers in travel centers, airports and other unique locations.”
