Xponential Fitness is one of the world’s largest franchisors of boutique fitness studios, with a portfolio of eight industry-leading brands in the categories of Pilates, yoga, dance, cycling, barre, rowing, stretching and running.
With over 1,500 studios open and operating across all eight brands, the Xponential Fitness concepts are well-proven over time.
Xponential Fitness brands range from boutique fitness pioneers like Pure Barre and Club Pilates, to cutting-edge concepts such as Row House and STRIDE.
Franchisees and master franchise partners of Xponential Fitness brands receive complete initial and ongoing support on all aspects of the business from a professional team with years of experience in fitness and franchising operations.
Xponential Fitness views its franchisees as partners in the business, and everything the company does is geared toward helping its franchisees and master franchise partners succeed.
Xponential Fitness is seeking motivated and qualified master franchise partners to develop their brands in key global markets, including:
The ideal partner should have a passion for health and fitness and for the Xponential Fitness brands and have a vision for significant growth through franchising.
Join a rapidly-growing boutique fitness brand
Xponential Fitness studios have an average total size of less than 200 square metres, and their customers come from within a 5-10 minute travel distance, creating a significant unit growth opportunity. This, combined with the fact that fitness in general, and boutique fitness specifically, have been steadily growing worldwide for years, makes an Xponential Fitness concept an exciting investment opportunity.
According to IHRSA (the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association) revenue from fitness facilities grew to nearly $100bn in 2019, with global membership of more than 184 million people.
Training and support
Master franchise partners receive extensive ongoing support from the Xponential Fitness international team, which is made up of experienced professionals with years of international development success. In addition to having support from a dedicated international team, master franchise partners will also have frequent interaction with key members of the brand-level team, in the areas of sales and marketing, financial management, construction and design, and much more.
How much does a master franchise investment cost?
Potential master franchise partners should have access to the initial capital of at least $750,000, some of which will be needed for immediate investment, and some of which may be spread over time as the business ramps.
Master franchisees pay an initial master franchise fee to Xponential Fitness upon the signing of the master franchise agreement. The fee itself will depend on the size and scope of the market, as well as the number of brands selected by the master franchisee. Thereafter, Xponential Fitness and the master franchisee share in the initial fees from sub-franchises sold in the market, as well as ongoing royalties and vendor rebates.
In addition to the initial fee, the master franchisee is also expected to open at least one pilot studio in the market which will serve as a functioning studio as well as a training and testing location.
