Continued accord and a new date – the German franchise world is already gearing up for the second franchise expo in Frankfurt (November 14th through 16th, 2019).
2018 was the premier, 2019 will be even bigger. The Franchise Expo Frankfurt (FEX) received a very warm welcome from the international and national franchise community in its first year. Now growth will be at the strategic center of the organizers, US based franchise event experts MFV Expositions and the German Franchise Association. Both parties have agreed on a continued partnership for FEX in 2019.
A growing industry is at the heart of the Expo
Torben Broderson, Managing Director of the Association reflects: “The [German] franchise industry is growing continuously so an international expo is a must. A look at the current Franchise climate index, a survey of the association amongst its members, highlights this positive trend: faith in the business climate was already raised to 140 per cent at the beginning of 2018 but it grew by another three per cent in the second half of the year. The number of new enterprises experienced a significant rise from eight to 15 per cent as well. And let’s not forget about the employment rate which rose by nine point four per cent as well.”

140 brands, ranging from well-known trademarks to a multitude of newcomers, used FEX18 to present themselves to a very interested audience A gratifying result for the organizer: the expo was so well received that half of the exhibition space for 2019 was already sold during FEX18.
