How would you describe Expense Reduction Analysts?

Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) is a White-Collar franchise, whose franchisees act as trusted advisors to thousands of companies worldwide as cost optimisation and supply management consultants, generating significant savings year after year.

Our specialists use their experience and expertise to deliver tangible financial savings in a variety of different industries and areas of cost.

Which qualities, in your opinion, earned it the title of Best White-Collar franchise?

Our model and structure fits the current, fast-changing business scene and is extremely well suited to today’s economy. Our vision is to continue unlocking potential and that applies equally for franchise partners, clients and employees. By remaining humble, honest, and striving to always put our clients’ needs first, we foster our business and achieve our mission.

What makes an Expense Reduction Analysts franchise an attractive proposition for a potential franchisee?

ERA operate within a high potential market, as every company or organisation has costs that we can help to reduce. Working on a success fee basis, franchisees have an earning potential above 6 figures annually and benefit from relatively low overhead costs.

We offer comprehensive training, IT & marketing support to provide franchisees with the platform from which to build a successful business from.We feel this combination of support along with our determination to succeed is what helps us to stand out from the crowd.

What was the inspiration for the brand?

In 1992, I was looking for a low risk business in the service sector, as the global economy at that time was in a recession. I came across the concept in the US. We built a small consulting business out of London and this service proved successful.

And how was it developed?

We strategized how we could grow it nationally and internationally and decided on a franchise model. We have used a direct franchise model in countries like the UK, US, Italy and Australia. However, in most countries, we operate through Area Representatives, thus ensuring we have someone on the ground familiar with the local language and culture.

We also invest heavily in technology and the development of our franchisees and support staff, which we see as a key ingredient to our success.

When did you begin franchising and how successful has this been?

We started franchising fully in the UK and Australia in 1997. Three of the first eight franchisees in the UK are still with ERA after 21 years and the international network has grown to over 650 franchisees across 30+ countries, due to the success of the franchising model.

To win an award in this category in 2018 was amazing, to win it again in 2019 is very humbling and we are honoured to receive this award. This repeated recognition from Global Franchise Awards is a great moment for our business and validates the hard work we have all put in to creating a thriving global franchise.

Through hard work and determination our business has continued to grow in recognition within the franchising sector and this prestigious award helps to further consolidate our status as one of the world’s leading White-Collar franchises.
