This year, liquid-nitrogen ice cream chain franchisor Irvine-based Creamistry is set to open 70 locations. The company, which was launched by Jay Yim in 2013, already has 41 shops up and running in the U.S. and hopes to pass the 100 location mark sometime in 2018. There are agreements for international outlets in China, (where master deal is for 500 units) Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and India.
Jay Yim said, “In 2016, we experienced a record-setting year thanks to our ongoing innovation and unwavering commitment from our franchisees and employees. With a strong franchise development pipeline, amazing customer service and a spectacular liquid nitrogen smoke show that brings something entirely different to the burgeoning ice cream segment, we see even more accelerated growth in the years to come.”
